SMS Pty Ltd (" SMS " ) recognizes and accepts its responsibility towards ensuring the quality of work undertaken and the health and safety of all its employees when undertaking its operations. We are committed to continual improvement in managing our operations in a manner that maximizes quality and prevents or minimises safety risks to employees, contractors and subcontractors and our impact on the environment. Our commercial objective must be matched by a determination that our operations should not degrade the environment or expose anyone to an unacceptable level of risk.

While senior management recognizes that it is ultimately responsible for SMSs quality, safety and environmental performance, all personnel are accountable for ther actions which affect the company's overall performance.

SMS will strive to achieve industry best practice, where economically feasible, but recognizes and accepts that compliance with all relevant quality, safety and environmental laws is our minimum standard.

Specifically :

• Implement and maintain a documented management system to meet the aims of this policy.
• Provide a framework for setting and reviewing measurable objectives and targets aimed at maximizing quality and eliminating work related injuries and environmental impacts
• Operate in such a manner which prevents pollution by reducing waste, reusing and recycling resources and materials
• Ensure that this policy is communicated to all personnel involved in our operations
• Provide all personnel with adequate training and information to meet their quality, safety and environmental obligations
• Provide adequate instruction to all consultants, contractors and supplier so to ensure that they confirm to appropriate safeguards whilst under our control
• Periodically review and update this policy
